Difference between Opener and Video Display

Hi, I’m not quite sure what’s the difference between the Video Display and Opener category.. Because the projects inside both categories somewhat do/show the same thing. Anybody has any idea what’s the difference between these two categories? That’s because I want to upload my project to the correct one. Haha Thank you very much

No-one’s quite sure. That’s why there’s such a muddle of work between the categories. I have always taken it that an opener consists of text and a video display has image placeholders.. but that’s just my own assumption.

The names should really change to reflect this. Text template / Text and Image template or something.

I assume the Openers category is for opening sequences & titles mostly for tv-shows, while Video Displays category is more or less for ad & video presentation projects…

Opener is more like opening animation for a certain theme where we can see certain details which shouldn’t be changed.

Video display gets it’s own theme dependently on the images are placed in the video placeholders.
