Hi all motion graphics designers. I’m about to create a project, where i need a dancing crowd. They just need to be black silhouettes. I know you could record a dancing person in front of a green screen, but is there any other possibilities? Could it be made in flash?

Type “dancing crowd” in the search bar, I think you’ll find something ;)

Looks interesting. I know I could just buy a project and copy paste the dancing crowd in my project, but i just wondered if some of you knew any tutorial on how to create those dancing people. ?

I have tried to find a tutorial on the internet, but without any luck.

Either by recording dancing people in studio in front of the green screen -> keying (replacing green with alpha channel) -> applying black OR manually masking out dancers -> applying black. The second approach is cheaper but it may take a lot of your time :)

EDIT : You can make animations in flash but to make them fluid you would have to manually animate at least 25 frames for a second of animation.

yes + For vectorize , you must import all frames with png format and using (trace bitmap) to have vector with very small size .

No. Animation of this type can and should be done with the help of keyframes. Animations 4-5 dancing people takes about 2 hours. Also, very good Bones tool.

You’re right, I forgot about the bones tool but it’ll never look as good as keyed actors :)
