Hi. I think that new feature about “Currently Processing Uploads” (line from yellow to green) is not as good as recently it was counter in the queue (just number of your place in the queue). When I see my number smth like 5th out of 200 on videohive I know that my project will be in 1-2 hours online unless it is night time. When the line is green nothing is predictable.

Thanks.

I hate that bar, I don’t know who come up with this idea but is a bad idea.

I can figure out why it was implemented.

When some impatient author see something like 3 from 129, then after a day he see 2 from 25 it can have a heart attack and start creating threads on forum asking what the reviewers are doing with his item.

Still, I don’t understand why I have to be the one to suffer for this. :(

Interesting thing about this bar is that it moves even when reviewers are not here, just because other authors are uploading their projects and it changes the position of my project in the queue. I always check my progress in source code where the % are shown, mostly when it passes 90%.

Envato’s staff, please bring back the number of the place in the queue ! Like you DoubleX, i check sometimes the % in source code, but i think it’s a little bit stupid…

i totally agree! Maybe if enough other people do as well, we can do away with that bar.

I have adopted a new philosophy I believe will bring me peace. If I keep uploading on a regular basis, at a rate where I have multiple projects in the queue at any given moment, I become a lot less concerned with the placement in the queue. Life is better, I am more calm, less irritated and a lot more friendly! I have also noticed that I eat more, exercise more and socialize more. Conclusion: worry about the projects, the VH staff will worry about the rest!

This doesn’t stop me from F5, that is a tick I will never shake. But it lets me focus more on the creation more than the administration. Besides, when has a project taken less than a week to get approved anyway :)

Actually I don’t need to go into the source code, I just select the bar with my mouse and right click and I can see % :D

what about making this bar more interesting?

when your file is stuck in queue the pony stay still, but when you gain positions the pony will run to the right. if your file is rejected then the pony will be killed :( at the end of bar. if it gets accepted the pony will live happily ever after on your item page. You can find him there, protecting your item from bad comments and bugs.

we can use other creatures too, like a turtle, when the reviewers take a long break, or a shark when the reviewer have a bad day and will reject everything

here is a representation of how this should look like with a standing pony, since the file is stuck at 93% for some reason
