we want to know the regular charge for the motion graphic works
i have some exprience but i think i must know your idea about my costs .
please say how Are these the costs:

our regular animation costs in cell animation style is

  • 50$ – 150$ per second

Flash animation for web :
  • 5 – 12 $ per second .
Flash vector animation with charectures :
  • 30 $ – 60$ per second.

Flash 2D Logo Ident :
  • 200 – 400 $
Logo Ident : The general 2D form :
  • 500 $ – 1500 $ USD
Logo Ident : The general 3D form:
  • 1000 – 5K $ USD
Regular time for logo is (15 – 30 sec)
Opener The general 2D form
  • 700 $ – 2000 $
Deppended work to work . Regular time for opener is (25 – 60 sec)
Video display and title (text holder and picture or video Place holder) The general 2D form
  • 1500$ – 2500$
Regular time for Video display is (60 – 90 sec)
The general 2D form means most of the work Will make in aftereffect but , if we need 3D will use 3D Programs.
The general 3D form means most of the work Will make in 3D programs.
flash videos Have diffrence with usual videos
(the videos have low size like (150 kb – 800 kb) for (10 – 40) sec but flash is not flexible like aftereffects )

retail pricing from design companies, are why people like me buy templates here for $8-$25 and modify ourselves… also I can make changes myself and render without re-paying more money, or waiting… with templates here, it makes it easier for us small business owners to create great looking video.

I think that you can use template with regular licence to output only one video that will be used many times, but if you then want to change something, you need to buy project again. look here: videohive.net/forums/thread/using-video-as-a-youtube-partner/54812

And it’s only the case if you dont sell it or earn with it. if so, then you need extended licence.

I don’t think you can really charge animation out by the second. The time it takes depends entirely on the complexity and the quality.

Have a look on the essential resources for authors thread, where you’ll find the 2010 motion graphic census, that has quite a lot of info about freelancer day rates.

Ultimately, you need to feel your way with pricing.
