I would have never thought this of you! NO matter how you want to package it, or what you call it – your so-called “deposit system” with an expiration is a scam. Instead of focusing on what you really do best, namely provide incrredible value – you come across as pretty much a money grubbing scammer who is more concerned about getting your hands on all the money within your reach than your product.

A scam, by any other name is still a scam – why do you feel you need to make your money in the money-market business instead of your product. IF YOU TAKE SOMEONES MONEY FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN YOUR ‘RULES’ AND ‘PROCESSES’ – and give them no value except for the “priviledge” of letting YOU hold THEIR money then you are either a government or a crook – pure and simple.

DrJ,

I am very sorry you are unhappy with the issue at hand, but I’m sure if you really think about the situation you can realize that it makes sense. Lets say you come and deposit $20, and use $12. Leaving $8 in your account. And then lets say you choose to not come back for 3 years. Now that’s $8 that Envato has to account for each year when they run the numbers, and this multiplied across the number of total members, also adding new members that will come in that time, and it will cost an arm and a leg for just accounting each year to factor all of this in.

Not to mention the issue that comes up with the ability to basically use Envato as a banking system to hold money in for any amount of time.

At least now, deposits don’t expire unless you really are inactive for over a year.

Hi guys, I’m going to consolidate this thread because it’s being discussed on 5 separate sites, so if you want to comment please do so at this thread:

DrJ – I know some people have found this issue unsatisfactory which is why you can now just buy what you want with no need for a $20 deposit!

If you ever deposit with us you can extend your cash at any time should you wish to use it again. :-)

Thanks!
