That shit got me totally depressed bro.. feeling like a total noob. :D

You talking about Marmalade now or the mad driving round San Francisco?

Thing is, you need a budget with major $$$ to play with toys like Marmalade have. Budgets that only commercials can afford. And that’s my problem with the reel too: It’s a lot of very glossy production value and a dearth of killer ideas. As the reel went on, I desperately wanted to see something that would blow my mind. But it’s basically a bunch of food and drink flying about. I wouldn’t get too depressed about it. It’s a different and very specific game to what a motion graphic designer does.

As for the driving one. Anyone can drive like that. :D

I know i know ;) it’s a totally different ‘budget’ ballpark but still, being able to create shots like i saw in the clip is probably something i would be very happy to be able to do one day. Getting depressed because i probably could right now if i really wanted to but would have to sacrifice allot to accomplish that. :)

I’m not sure how many of you have seen this, but for me as a person who loves to work with a camera and trying to shoot stabilized footage, this is something unbelievable. Those camera movements. I always thought that footages like in 5:25 were done in professional 3D programs, now I see that “my whole life is a lie”.
