Hello creative nation,
I have been wondering if envato would make a list or chart of the most searched keywords in the respective marketplaces, that gets updated once every two/three days lets say.
This would help authors get a better idea how to make a new bestseller, and bring more customers to the site…
It could GREATLY help the developing marketplaces (3dOCean for example), and upcoming marketplaces (photodune) to get new customers, and in turn help the marketplaces grow.
Many sites implement similar features, so why don’t we get it, too?

This way not only could we see what buyers search for, but also how they search for it (what keywords they use to find the item they need).

Neat idea guys! Do you think it might encourage keyword stuffing though? (Like people grabbing a list of most searched for keywords and plonking them into their item to get found more)
That’d be my main worry, that the good effects would be drowned out by the less good
