Hi,

I had an idea last night to create a test twitter feed and post some 140 character and some average length tweets. (average tweet on twitter is 82 chars)

The tweets contain lorem ipsum and contain no spam or advertising etc etc.

This could then be used when you want to test what a twitter feed looks like in your designs or demo pages.

The twitter account is @tweepsum http://twitter.com/tweepsum

Enjoy

Dan

It’s not a bad idea but you should add some retweets, links, etc to test styling.

Hi EugeneO,

Thanks for taking the time to provide a little feedback.

You are spot on, I will add some additional tweets later.

Cheers,

Dan

Majority of tweets in my feed don’t always max 140 characters so a useful test stream would be one with varied output.

I think you should expand the idea and do a facebook and flickr account. Put up a site that has all the information in one spot. Good idea by the way. Maybe you could make premade widgets for wordpress that contain the access information for the accounts. That way people could just copy, paste and then style
