Here’s a fun challenge for you all. I did this here once before, a couple years ago and it worked out very well. Start a collection (or more than one) that contains nothing from your own portfolio. Yes, you read that right. Put effort into promoting everyone but you for a moment. I have at least three collections of this kind at all times on my den page, and not only does it help create tighter bonds between authors and a stronger sense of community in the eyes of our customers, it is a very good way to keep up on what everyone else is doing around AJ.
What will you get if you take part in this challenge you ask? Genuine thanks, respect and your efforts reciprocated by your fellow community members. You may be surprised what this can do for you in the long run.
Stop back by here and let us know about your collection(s) as you get them build. If we all help each other by building collections like this, we all benefit in the end! Looking forward to what you all come up with!
*ProTip: You can easily benefit from these efforts right now by simply creating an AJ audio player that contains your collection of other artists and include it in your marketing efforts. You get referral earnings and the authors you feature get more sales earnings. Win-Win!
Cheers! OhmLab

OmhLab, great idea! I’ll start working on a collection, I’d like to include a lot of tracks that come from this thread once it grows a little bit.
Hmmmm….it’s all about the love around these jungles eh? lol. I dig the idea!

I liked the idea, just a good way to cross promote, doesn’t seem like many are jumping on board right now.
Its a nice idea. Phil larson started a thread couple months ago where people promoted each other right here on the forum. I think buyers read the forums so it maybe more effective to revive that thread as well as do ohmlabs idea. Everything helps.
I think more people would be down if we all agreed to form a group and pick one track from each person’s portfolio and have us all in everyones collection. That way it is larger coverage for all. If not equal promotion I’m not sure if I would want to send people away from my profile page. If anyone wants to have some co-promotion I will be happy to create a collection and add a track I like from your portfolio.
I’m definitely down for it…I’m just getting used to functioning as a newbie.

This is my top 20 collection, sorry if I missed anyone, but there are so many great tracks around here
Anyway, feel free to rate the collection and be sure that I will add more tracks to it soon. Cheers!
Ahh, this is something fhr_studio is doing!
I think this is a great idea. This Audiojungle music site is not only selling but also recognition and collaboration.
