We’ve actually got some authors working on some Koken themes for ThemeForest as we speak but we would like more authors to create more Koken themes! As delgibbons said, it’s complex – because it will depend on the PRO you’re dealing with. To avoid creating issues for past buyers of your track on AJ, we’d ask that you only do this if the PRO you’re dealing with tells you that they won’t chase uses of the track made under licences obtained by AJ buyers, ie before you registered the track with the PRO. The answer is as varied as the number of PROs there are in the world! It also won’t matter if your track has only had regular license sales, as the same questions will come up for any future uses by an AJ buyer under the terms of their regular license. It would be great if you can let us know what approach ASCAP takes if you find anything out from them.
