I’d say get it to a point were you’re happy with it and submit it for review. If it gets rejected at least you then know what to work on.

yes i might add some other features to it, but i want suggestion on desgin and layout. You said it is basic looking from graphic aspect, yes i made it intentionally graphic less, i do not want to add many graphics to it. As i have mentioned i have tried to fix padding and margin issue, if there is still any problem please can any body mention specifically, where the problem is?

I don’t think many people will be willing to hold your hand and walk you through how to fix every bit of your design. Some things you will have to do yourself.

Okay, this needs a TON of work. EVERYTHING needs work, graphics, typography, features, code.

It is a million miles away from being a premium template, you have 175 validation errors in the code, the margin and paddings are a mess, there are lots of alignment issues…

Go back to the drawing board, take a look on Forrst, Dribbble and Creattica for inspiration then have another go at it with some fresh ideas.

It’s just basic, both graphically and feature wise. You need to work on all the graphical elements, line-heights, typography and add way more features to be in with a chance.

I agree with the reviewer. Graphically it’s basic, and as it has a lack of features too it will never be approved.

If it is going to be basic by design then it needs to have amazing features and vice versa, if it lacks in features it needs to be graphically outstanding. When both need work your going to struggle.

Work on the visual hierarchy with the size and spacings of your typography. Line height and letter spacing also need work.

It NEEDS features. How about some Cufon font replacement via options? Unlimited colors with color picker?

A few color schemes and shortcodes just won’t cut it.

I have been searching through Themeforest and am honestly confused and overwhelmed.

Most of the wordpress themes here are for entire websites. I just want a blog that will showcase my personal photography and artwork.

I would love to have a header that is a slideshow – sliding photos – nothing Flash related as I would like the blog to be visible to iPad or iPhone users.

So, I am looking for a cool personal artwork wordpress blog…. Can anyone help with this?

Just a quick post to thank Kailoon for his review process of my new theme:

Kailoon came back with good ideas and advise each time, and although I received a couple of rejections Kailoon’s feedback made sense, so what started out as a good theme I feel has now turned into a great theme!
