Hey guys,

I often received emails with requests for my works to donate them for various churches/charitable business/schools/etc.

What i know: being an exclusive author here that’s against the rules, however i would’ve liked to make some donations. Instead of just sending that person to the Envato Support to open a ticket there, do you know any other way? I thought about donating the money (theme value) and that person to purchase himself, having a perfectly licensed item, however i’m not sure if that’s legal too.

I know some are sc*m but i often do some research and if everything’s all right i wouldn’t have no problem donating to some.

@all : Well, i cannot talk in Marius’s name , however, if the meeting will take place in Bucharest, i can join anytime as starting this week i become a full time freelancer :)

Best regards, Stefan ( Kallyas WP programmer )

I’m not sure that this is the right place to do such thing.. You target a really tiny audience with your ad, as tiny as your bump :)

You better try here: http://www.jobber.ro/

..or, can i apply? :D

You’re right, already posted on jobs-oriented websites (but will also try jobber too), however i really wanted to try here as well :) Who knows maybe there’s a great person who’s browsing these forums and finds this interesting :bigsmile:

As the title says we’re looking for a colleague that will handle the support for our themes, especially Wordpress, but also Joomla (WP is proprietary). This is a full-time job, 8hr/5days/week at our office in Bucharest.

Basic job requirements:
– handle forum support requests
– report bugs and issues, add them into our tracking list

Your skills (kind of mandatory):
– CMS (Wordpress / Joomla), at least one of these two, the other will be learned on the way. For the moment Wordpress is prioritized.
– Obviously HTML & CSS
– PHP (not a guru, no need for that, just some good skills to debug/edit/understand php codes).
– JS – or plain jQuery – again, not a guru, just to understand the basics of it, to debug or edit some visuals effects and plugin adaptations.
– Experience with tools such as Firebug or Chrome Developer tools
– Politeness! 98% of the people who is requiring support will ask politely, we & our buyers are expecting the same from you :)

Benefits:
– Monthly transportation subscription (or office is near the subway);
– Attractive salary depending on skills;
– Knowledge is power!! You will learn tons of stuff!! As a team we’ll do our best to evolve to better and better professionals in our field of work so i guarantee we’ll always learn new and interesting stuff that will always come in handy.

If interested, please email at jobs [ @ ] hogash.com . Remember, only available in Bucharest, Romania.

Indeed, i now see obvious reasons why there shouldn’t be such option. It makes much more sense to have the refunding system from Envato’s system like it is now. Perhaps the desire of getting rid of the pressure given by that buyer made me think so. Thank you guys for clearing that up!! :bigsmile:

@contrastblack Thank you for replying, just sent you an email! :)

@ArsGemini You have the right to ask for a refund! Do it if you want, just don’t trash the author, he might not have done a great job, but who know maybe he tried hard for that. I don’t see a reason to take something like this personal (not that you’re taking, just giving my example)

@dnp_theme I wouldn’t be so harsh, however action should take against some.
