I think that making the Marketplace website responsive is in the checklist of the devs, but one thing everyone can be sure at the moment: devs are overwhelmed by projects and projects and projects at the moment. Or long story short, the answer to your question in the title of the thread: because at the moment Envato don’t have enough human resources to put on this

It’s maybe annoying, but only with Spam email I think. First time the buyer receives the email, he would open and checkout the link inside because it’s him who asked the question and wanted an answer. If he doesn’t want the email, he may find a link inside it helping him to Unsubscribe this function inside his Dashboard. This is how most services are doing. The important thing here, is letting the users know that THERE IS such feature provided.

Absolutely agree on this. The way Envato staff are choosing items for the bundle now is making buyers think that this is not simply a “bundle”, it’s a pack of finest selected top rated most popular items. If it’s already the finest, how would buyers need the rest then? Just take one and never have to come back again .

That’s also the reason why I prefer the shopping cart with coupon more. Buyer still get discounted, even for single item. And more important, the promotion is fair for every author and items, not the finest selected one.

You can use Google search, there are some results there with the number of icons you wanted.

We’re still in the moment where all of this selling digital goods, is new, and so there’s no need to discount something wich is selling out since only 4 years, and is coming out right now, I think it can be done much much later. Like clothes…

That’s the reason why you can see many people complain about this bundle thing. It makes thing cheaper and cheaper overall, even at the very beginning of the product life. And now with this “mini-bundle” I think they would release the bundle on a more occasional basis and longer duration, so buyers tend to wait for the bundles instead of browsing the waves of items coming everyday. And with the items become cheaper and cheaper, the buyers would soon forget about the true value of the items which would leads to a general decrease in price soon, just to get sales. Think about the whole marketplace as a supermarket. With bundles releasing like this it makes me feel like the market is too much over-saturated and the market owner are trying to bundle every every little things just to get some sales before closing down the supermarket?

Just my personal opinion at this very moment.

Hmm. So how about your balance? Do you notice any amount going out from your balance? Are you trying to pay directly for the item, or try to deposit money to your Envato balance? Maybe some guys above are right, this has sth to do with the connectivity issues recently on Envato. If I were you I wouldn’t try it continuously to avoid any problems that may occur. Please send a Support ticket and hopefully they would help you out with it.

Connectivity issues, jQuery issues, and there are probably thousands currently stranded with “missing stylesheet” issues. It’s a mess out there, folks. But we’ll get through it…together.

You forget to add the bundles, and the review delay issue… Hope we would somehow, survive…

Normally you just need font name and the link to download/ purchase. But be sure to include in both the package and the item description.
