Thanks for pointing this out. Here’s a quick fix for the problem:

Use data-rel in HTML and then use jQuery to change the data-rel to rel attribute:

$('selector goes here a').each(function() {
        $(this).removeAttr('data-rel').attr('rel', 'prettyPhoto');
});

Validates perfectly Hope this will help someone.

A note: disable the deeplinking in prettyPhoto to escape problems with QuickSand’s sorting.

@Genem, I haven’t looked at your code but did you use enhancement to do a function callback? It’s used for custom functions after quicksand sorting?

I had similar problem some time ago. Research on the web on the eye strain exercises (every 30 min), basically they are all the same – move the eyes in both directions, look at something far away from you, then at something that is close, blink more

- drink more water to hydrate your eyes
- check with the doctor
- wear special glasses that protect from computer light (we have this kind in Russia, though I haven’t tried those)
- try Flux application for Mac (adjusts screen lightning at night), very helpful. I felt it really had a softening effect on my eyes after using it for couple of months now.

Answer to your second question:

The alternatives to Flash IDE are FlashDevelop http://www.flashdevelop.org/ (free, PC only) and FDT http://www.fdt.powerflasher.com/ (not free, both platforms). I suggest you start with FlashDevelop, its provides you with a lot of features and is way more than one need to simply edit the code.

For a more complex project I’d suggest FDT – pretty pricey, but saves you a lot of time during development and afterwards in maintenance times.

Regarding your initial question, you can load modules (if there are build to be standalone swf files) in Flash templates sold here (google on to “loading one swf into another”). If you are OK with Actionscript, its even better – you can always customize the code and add additional functionality if you want.

However, I think its certainly better to get one template that matches all your needs to achieve consistent look and feel for your website.
