BF3 was a ridiculously linear game, for that reason I don’t like it.

To judge Battlefield according to single player is like listening to one sound effect on Audiojungle and saying that you don’t like Envato. Multiplayer is where the fun is at. Preferably with friends.

Anyway, I haven’t tried MW3 but I’m playing Battlefield 3. Requested to join the Envato Platoon and looking forward to pwn some n00bs together ^^

Oh, I only realized now it was a limited amount of time. This is truly a quality bundle, well worth its price. I’ve been working with video games for about three years and the amount of time it would take to make all those assets is way beyond $20.

Good on you Envato for putting together this. Like JamiGibbs I’m curious to see what people do with it.

its must be a pain when you make a lot of single fx and you have to bounce it a second time with the watermark..

It’s worse when I’m mixing a game and then have to manually export 100’s of sfx from Cubase. Even worse, almost every single time I manage to get a file name wrong and break the game ^^

I’ve been around for a couple of weeks now and I’m slowly learning how it works. Here’s a suggestion on how to make it easier for newbs like me to get started.

I’m first and foremost an audio producer. That’s why Audiojungle was my first stop. I really tried to read as much as I could so I wouldn’t make too many mistakes. Of course there were some but the reviewers helped me to get it right.

One of the things I was looking for was “Files We Do and Don’t Need” for Audiojungle. The only information I could find was this:

http://audiojungle.net/wiki/tag/needed-files/

As I submitted my first file, it turned out I submitted a file that was on this list:

http://audiojungle.net/wiki/basics/audiojungle-basics/basics/audiojungle-files-we-do-and-dont-need/

All was fine though, I had an good enough recording to still make it through. It even turned out to be my first sale so that was a lucky shot.

Now I’m looking at Photodune. I have some 700 photos taken on my journey around the globe. The first thing I was looking for was the ” “Files We Do and Don’t Need” for Photodune but I can’t seem to find it. The obvious place should be the first link I posted but it’s not there. Perhaps put links to all the marketplaces in that list to make it easier to find for beginners like me?

All the best

Hello, I’m anxious to get started but I cant even seem to upload a picture that is of acceptable specs- Can anyone lead me the right way on this one? I dont have any fancy picture editing software on my Mac, I dont know how to get a picture to 580 by 420 or whatever- Also, with the audio watermarks, I am assuming I will need to create a session in Pro-Tools and add the watermark and bounce each track down separately then upload them to Audio Jungle, correct? Or is there a shortcut you wouldnt mind sharing? Thanks much, I am appreciative of any help, especially when its from the competition! If there is someone here that has alot of experience and success here, and would consider mentoring me a bit, I could return the favor somehow for sure. Thanks Jason

Hi there MusicPlanet!

I’ll try to add to jhunger’s awesome response. Like him I’m a Windows guy but I have some knowledge of Mac. iPhoto should do fine. A suggestion is to Google “iPhoto crop tutorial” if you don’t know how to do it. Another way is to use one of the many online image editors. This one for instance:

http://www.picresize.com/

Fairly easy to use.

As for the watermark there is no shortcut. I use Cubase where I have a template with the watermark in. That’s where I import my audio on a track beside it. The final thing to do is just to see that it doesn’t clip. Most often it doesn’t but sometimes my assets are recorded at a really high level and then I need to lower the volume on either the watermark, my audio or both.

Good luck.

Hey Thomas!

Thanks a lot. To get your music featured in a trailer with Jackie Chan is quite something. Good for you!

Now to the cutting room. Got an interesteing Sound Pack coming up. Never seen something similar before so it will probably make me a millionaire and I’ll be chilling in the Bahamas for the rest of my days.

:)

Hey peeps!

I was browsing AJ and all of a sudden I saw something that I’ve been looking for. The forum button :)

About a week ago I decided to go exclusive which suits me perfectly. I enjoy the feeling here. Then a couple of days ago I got my first sale. Wohoo! Since then it’s been silent. Oh well, I will continue to build my portfolio. I have many GB’s of recordings from around Sweden and parts of Europe. I should get an intern to do all the cutting perhaps? ^^

See you around!
