So with talk about low poly models, what would people make of a range of animals?..
I don’t know why I picked a penguin first lol
haha, thats lush. If it was animated it would be awesome for games
Yeah i’ve got it and used it, much much nicer than the older version
i’ve made a couple, nothing hugely special yet though… once i’ve got my blog online i’ll put them online

Sigh, now I have another technological fascination. I’m loving what Unity has fostered, some great games out there.Haha. That’s how I always feel when I find something like this – as excited as I am sad that I have no time.
There are never enough hours in the day
Someone who may have been hired as an environment Artist (for example) has no right to buy a model and use it in the manner you are writing about.
thats a big part of what happens here, especially on AD and TF… templates are bought on behalf of a client and I would bet less than 50% inform their client that its actually a template even though that is the rule…
I’ve purchased quite a lot of models from here over the last week, the quality is truly outstanding, keep it up!
A couple of models I’ve purchased are rigged characters which I need animating for use within Unity3D, the result exported to .fbx format. Unfortunately the author is unable to take on this work.
The characters in question would be a snowboarder and a golfer and the animations will be pretty basic, couple of simple snowboard grabs and a golf swing. If you’re interested please get in touch…
Thanks and keep modelling!

Really? That’s awesome! You should do a video for one of the tuts sites. I’m not sure which one. I guess it would depend on whether you focused on the coding or not.
I’m finding the transition from actionscript very simple.PS Did you ditch your MSFX account?
Nah, this is my lecturing account for purchasing models… still got my FX 8 )
btw. does anyone here work in Zbrush?
I have a friend who works well in it, such an incredible program
