Because they can order the service directly from there and pay through there. There is also a set amount of revisions you could offer through Microlancer. Dealing with customers via email would mean you spending weeks on customizations for those customers that are very picky and expect unlimited, lifetime revisions.
I could see how a service would be helpful if someone didn’t have much freelance experience, but most freelancers are capable of managing their own terms with clients.

It makes everything easier and adds a sense of trust and reliability because it is Envato’s own platform.
How does it make things easier? You mean the customer isn’t going to do business with you unless Envato’s involved? Then why do I get so many requests?

badjohnny saidYou can schedule multiple withdrawals, no limit (the only limit is that you can’t both use Payoneer for withdrawal).
Can I make withdrawals towice? I suppose first time I will send the 50% earnings to my paypal and the second time I will send the 50% earnings to partner’s paypal or payoneer? or I can just make withdrawals only one time in a day?
Yes this is true, but if you want your money, you have to withdraw the last day of the month, every month, (which is sooo inconvenient).

50 and I have to go in and withdraw twice at the end of every month, and because Australia is 18 hours ahead of me I missed the withdrawal cutoff twice last year. And our partner for a WordPress theme just missed it for February.
We desperately need a solution for this. Seems the easiest would be to add the ability to automatically withdraw a percentage of your total at the end of the month. Then we can all have the luxury of making multiple withdrawals ahead of time.
Not sure this would be so hard, since the “withdraw all earnings” doesn’t have an official figure until the end of the month anyway. Just take the final figure and apply the chosen percentage to it. Seems like an easy change that would make soooo many author’s lives easier.

Sometimes all it takes is some simple instructions as most buyers are capable of making simple changes themselves.
For anything complicated, most buyers are more willing to pay for customizations. Sometimes they can’t afford the work, but more often than not they completely understand that you don’t work for free.
So the people who expect free work are a small minority of overall buyers. Yeah they can ruin your rating, but these people are usually impossible to please anyway.
